Conroe Independent School District (CISD) is a public school district located in Montgomery County, Texas. It encompasses a diverse 348-square-mile area including the city of Conroe, The Woodlands, Shenandoah, Oak Ridge North, and other communities.

Established in 1892, CISD has grown to become the 7th largest school district in Texas and the 49th largest in the United States. It serves over 72,000 students across 71 campuses.
