About The Concacaf
Concacaf, the Confederation of North, Central America and Caribbean Association Football, is the governing body for soccer in the North and Central American and Caribbean regions. Established in 1961, Concacaf comprises 41 member associations, including countries from Canada in the north to Guyana, Suriname, and French Guiana in the south.
Headquartered in Miami, Florida, Concacaf's mission is to develop, promote, and manage soccer throughout its member nations with integrity, transparency, and passion. The organization aims to inspire participation in the sport and raise its quality across the region.
Competitions Organized
Concacaf organizes a variety of competitions for national teams, including the biennial Gold Cup and the Concacaf Nations League. For club teams, it hosts tournaments such as the Scotiabank Concacaf Champions League and the Caribbean Club Championship.
Additionally, Concacaf manages youth competitions at various age levels and supports FIFA in coordinating qualifiers for the Men's and Women's World Cups and Olympic Games.
Headquarters and Staff
In 2018, Concacaf relocated its headquarters to downtown Miami, Florida, to better serve its member associations and stakeholders.
The new office, located at 161 NW 6th Street, Suite #1100, houses over 50 employees across divisions such as General Secretariat, Football, Commercial, Finance and Administration, and Legal and Compliance.
