Community Coordinated Child Care, Inc. (4-C) is a non-profit organization based in Madison, Wisconsin. It is dedicated to enhancing the quality and accessibility of early childhood care and education. Established in 1971, 4-C operates as a Child Care Resource & Referral (CCR&R) agency and a Family Resource Center (FRC).

The organization serves an eleven-county region in south-central Wisconsin, including Columbia, Dane, Dodge, Grant, Green, Iowa, Jefferson, Lafayette, Rock, Sauk, and Walworth counties.

Community Engagement

4-C operates a Resource Room and Lending Library at their office in Madison. It offers a variety of developmentally appropriate materials to support early childhood professionals.

Membership is free and allows community members, parents, early childhood professionals, and families to check out high-quality materials such as themed toy kits, activity backpacks, storytime backpacks, big books, book kits, and adult resource books.

The organization conducts annual surveys to gather data on child care providers. This data informs community decision-making and advocacy efforts.
