About Community Colleges of Spokane

Community Colleges of Spokane (CCS) is a dynamic community college district based in Spokane, Washington. It serves approximately 20,000 students annually across a 12,302 square-mile region in Eastern Washington.

Established in 1963, CCS comprises two accredited institutions: Spokane Community College (SCC) and Spokane Falls Community College (SFCC).

Spokane Community College (SCC)

SCC offers a comprehensive range of programs, including over 60 career-technical degrees and certificates. Fields of study include manufacturing, transportation, building trades, environmental science, business, information technology, public safety, hospitality, and culinary arts.

The college is renowned for its health sciences division, the largest among Washington's community and technical colleges. Additionally, SCC provides adult education services such as Adult Basic Education, GED preparation, ESL, and High School Completion programs.

Spokane Falls Community College (SFCC)

SFCC is recognized for its high-quality and comprehensive online classes, certificates, and transfer degrees. It excels particularly in theater, music, fine arts, and STEM programs.
