City of Miami Gardens

The City of Miami Gardens, incorporated on May 13, 2003, is a vibrant municipality located in north-central Miami-Dade County, Florida. As the county's third-largest city, it serves as a principal urban center in the Miami metropolitan area.

The city encompasses several neighborhoods, including Andover, Bunche Park, Carol City, Lake Lucerne, Norland, Opa-locka North, and Scott Lake.

Landmarks and Sports

Miami Gardens is renowned for being the home of Hard Rock Stadium, a 64,767-seat multi-purpose venue that hosts the Miami Dolphins of the National Football League and the Miami Hurricanes college football team.

The stadium also serves as the venue for the annual Orange Bowl and has hosted the Miami Grand Prix since 2022.

Education

Miami Gardens is home to several educational institutions, including Miami Carol City Senior High School, established in 1963, and Norland Middle School, which offers a magnet program in dance, music, theatre, and art.
