Childrens Hospital of The King's Daughters

Children's Hospital of The King's Daughters (CHKD) is Virginia's only freestanding, full-service pediatric hospital. It is dedicated to providing comprehensive healthcare services to children from birth through age 21. Established in 1961, CHKD has grown into a 206-bed facility.

The hospital is located in Norfolk, Virginia, and serves the greater Hampton Roads area, the Eastern Shore of Virginia, and northeastern North Carolina.

As a Level I Pediatric Trauma Center, CHKD offers a wide range of services, including emergency care, inpatient and outpatient care, and specialized programs in more than 20 pediatric subspecialties.

The hospital is equipped with a state-of-the-art Neonatal Intensive Care Unit (NICU), providing the highest level of care for newborns.
