Beacon Academy of Nevada is a state-sponsored charter school dedicated to providing innovative and flexible education to at-risk high school students in Clark County, Nevada. Established in 2008, the academy focuses on students aged 16 to 21 who face significant challenges, including credit deficiencies, disciplinary issues, or special education needs.

Locations

The academy operates two campuses in Las Vegas:

• West Campus: Located at 7360 W. Flamingo Road, Las Vegas, NV 89147.
• East Campus: Situated at 1800 E. Sahara Avenue, Las Vegas, NV 89104.

Learning Model

Beacon Academy employs a blended learning model that combines online coursework with in-person support. Students attend campus at least two days a week, allowing for personalized instruction and fostering a supportive learning environment.

Expansion and Growth

In May 2025, Beacon Academy secured a loan through the Nevada Facilities Fund to purchase the West Campus property and an adjacent site. This expansion aims to double the school's enrollment capacity from 600 to 1,200 students.

The goal is to serve a larger number of at-risk students and provide them with the support needed to graduate and plan for their futures.
