Alameda Alliance for Health is a public, not-for-profit managed care health plan dedicated to providing accessible and affordable high-quality healthcare services to the residents of Alameda County, California.
Established in 1996, the Alliance was created by and for Alameda County residents. Its Board of Governors, leadership, staff, and provider network reflect the county's cultural and linguistic diversity.
Primary Programs
The Alliance offers comprehensive healthcare coverage to over 300,000 low-income children and adults through two primary programs:
- Medi-Cal Program: An NCQA-accredited program providing healthcare coverage to eligible individuals with access to a wide range of medical services.
- Alliance Group Care Program: An employer-sponsored plan offering low-cost, comprehensive healthcare coverage to In-Home Supportive Services (IHSS) workers in Alameda County.

Members have access to an extensive network of healthcare providers, including:
- Over 7,000 doctors
- 15 hospitals
- 29 community health centers
- More than 140 pharmacies throughout Alameda County
