1788 Chicken History: It all started with Hat Creek…. Hat Creek Burger Company is a dream of founder Drew Gressett that started in 2008. Giving it his everything he opened a food trailer serving up amazing burgers, fries and shakes. The rest is history! After serving thousands of burgers from our beloved food trailer, the first location was opened. Soon enough, we were catering events all over town and in 2011 opened our flagship location in West Lake Hills. We now have 8 locations in Texas with many more coming soon. We’ve not only grown in reach, but also in concept. We now feature play yards and burger patios with all of our locations! We are both fast casual and family friendly with a mission to provide fellowship and fresh cheeseburgers to all who come in contact with Hat Creek. September 12, 2016 the heart, vision, and goals of Drew extended into the Zaxby’s world through 1788 Chicken LLC. 1788 Chicken LLC is now owner and operator of 29 Zaxby’s across the United States of America. Under the leadership management team, at Hat Creek Burger Company, 1788 Chicken LLC continues to grow in excellence in the territories of Georgia, Tennessee, Arkansas, and Mississippi. The mission is to provide Fellowship and Real chicken to all whom who come in contact with Zaxby’s. Why Fellowship instead of Friendly???? Fellowship is deeper than just being friendly.
