Salary: $10–$20/hour

Tips: Yes

Schedule: Full-Time (40 hours per week). Monday–Friday, with the possibility of overtime beyond 40 hours per week.

Baker Duties & Responsibilities

  • Preparing and baking a wide range of pastry, bread and dessert items
  • Following standard recipes and ensuring consistency of product quality
  • Properly storing products and maintaining portion control
  • Keeping your workstation neat and orderly and performing general cleaning tasks
  • Monitoring and maintaining all equipment in clean, working condition
  • Selecting only the highest-quality food products for our creations
  • Following standard recipes and menu specifications
  • Providing outstanding guest service

Baker Qualifications & Skills

  • Having a baking certification is an advantage
  • Reading and math skills for recipes and measurements
  • Ability to work calmly and efficiently, especially during busy periods
  • Effective communication skills in English, both spoken and written
  • Ability to follow written and verbal instructions from supervisors
  • Knowledge of accepted standards of sanitation
  • Must be able to obtain and maintain all required work authorization

Baker Education & Experience Requirements:

  • High school diploma or GED
  • 1-2 years of experience as a baker or a bakery background is preferred
