Position: Line Cook – Brooklyn Bowl Philly
About: Brooklyn Bowl Philadelphia is a premier entertainment venue located in the heart of the historic Fishtown neighborhood. It offers a unique experience with live music, bowling, locally crafted beers, and food by the acclaimed Blue Ribbon restaurant group. The venue, set to open in Q4 2021, is the fourth location of Brooklyn Bowl, known for its commitment to locally made products and sustainability.
Requirements: High school diploma or equivalent is desirable; military school or formal on-the-job training preferred; training from a culinary school will be an asset; experience with quantity food preparation preferred; knowledge of health and safety rules in a kitchen; operation of cutting tools and kitchen utensils required; good communication skills and ability to work as a team player; ability to stay positive under pressure; knowledge of nutritional requirements; state issued Health Card required; availability to work all shifts, weekends, and evenings; ability to lift up to 70 lbs and push/pull up to 150 lbs; good hand-eye coordination and mental alertness; ability to concentrate with numerous distractions
