Position: Community Engagement Specialist
About: Boulder County Parks and Open Space Department is seeking to hire a Community Engagement Specialist. The department aims to enhance community involvement and partnerships to ensure equitable engagement in various projects and services. The Community Engagement Specialist will work closely with community members, partners, and stakeholders to promote inclusive open space use and stewardship. This full-time position requires flexibility with occasional evening and weekend work at the Parks & Open Space Headquarters in Longmont, Colorado.
Requirements: High school diploma or equivalent required; experience in community outreach and organizing; strong organizational skills with the ability to track budget expenses; excellent written and verbal communication skills; experience in event coordination; ability to work effectively with the public and diverse populations
