Job Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent
- One year of qualifying wrapping and packing experience
- Ability to work second shift
- Authorization to access export-restricted information under ITAR/EAR
- Physical ability to perform manual labor including lifting and standing for extended periods
- Strong attention to detail
- Effective communication skills
Job Qualifications
- One year qualifying wrapping and packing experience
- Proficiency with a variety of wrapping, packaging, cleaning and preserving equipment and materials
- Ability to follow verbal instructions and standard shop practices
- Attention to detail to ensure accuracy in part numbers and quantities
- Knowledge of safety standards in packaging and preservation
- Familiarity with ITAR and EAR compliance requirements
- Strong record-keeping skills
Job Duties
- Prepare items for storage or shipment by applying suitable wrapping materials
- Securely tie, bind, fasten or enclose items as required
- Clean and preserve items using solvents, oils, greases, waxes, and other preservatives
- Check and reconcile part numbers, quantities, and types against shipping tags and packing sheets
- Cushion items and place them in appropriate containers
- Apply necessary labels, tags, or markings on containers
- Maintain accurate records of packaging activities
