Job Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • One year of qualifying wrapping and packing experience
  • Ability to work second shift
  • Authorization to access export-restricted information under ITAR/EAR
  • Physical ability to perform manual labor including lifting and standing for extended periods
  • Strong attention to detail
  • Effective communication skills

Job Qualifications

  • One year qualifying wrapping and packing experience
  • Proficiency with a variety of wrapping, packaging, cleaning and preserving equipment and materials
  • Ability to follow verbal instructions and standard shop practices
  • Attention to detail to ensure accuracy in part numbers and quantities
  • Knowledge of safety standards in packaging and preservation
  • Familiarity with ITAR and EAR compliance requirements
  • Strong record-keeping skills

Job Duties

  • Prepare items for storage or shipment by applying suitable wrapping materials
  • Securely tie, bind, fasten or enclose items as required
  • Clean and preserve items using solvents, oils, greases, waxes, and other preservatives
  • Check and reconcile part numbers, quantities, and types against shipping tags and packing sheets
  • Cushion items and place them in appropriate containers
  • Apply necessary labels, tags, or markings on containers
  • Maintain accurate records of packaging activities
