Job Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience
  • Three to five years in a warehouse manager environment
  • Ability to effectively present information and respond to questions from managers and clients
  • Prior experience overseeing detail-oriented and quality-driven positions
  • Sense of urgency and accountability
  • Proficiency with WMS, Excel and Word
  • Strong analytical skills
  • Excellent supervisory and organizational abilities
  • Strong teamwork and communication skills
  • Process improvement experience
  • Ability to work in a multicultural environment
  • Ability to collaborate with customers, vendors and external organizations

Job Qualifications

  • Three to five years of experience in warehouse management
  • Proficiency with Warehouse Management Systems (WMS), Excel and Word
  • Strong analytical skills with familiarity in logistics and planning concepts
  • Excellent supervisory and organizational skills
  • Strong teamwork and communication skills
  • Ability to influence in a matrix environment
  • Experience in process improvement
  • Ability to develop and maintain multi-cultural relationships

Job Duties

  • Communicate with customers, related authorities and agencies and internally within NEU
  • Supervise and direct warehouse staff in performing work according to sound warehouse operating principles and procedures, compliance with applicable government regulations, company policies and procedures
  • Prepare and implement the function target and plan based on branch/department target and plan and make recommendations regarding personnel decisions in the function
  • Develop among assigned personnel a consciousness for the need for teamwork to attain department objectives
  • Review daily production schedule for the department to plan work and personnel assignments for the shift
  • Anticipate and determine causes of delays in shift operations and take appropriate action to meet shipping schedules
  • Direct personnel in the receipt of materials and supplies against quantities ordered and quality of specifications and advise purchasing department of deviations
  • Prepare required forms for shift and leaves for department manager's approval
  • Study operations where cost standards are not being met to determine causes and apply corrective measures
  • Apply company employee relations policies in all dealings with employees
