Job Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Electric pallet jack use within the last six months
- Physical ability to lift 50 pounds or more repeatedly
- Ability to stand and walk for extended periods
- Weekend and holiday availability
- Ability to follow safety protocols and sanitation policies
- Basic mechanical aptitude for troubleshooting equipment issues
Job Qualifications
- Valid forklift certification
- Six or more months of safe equipment operation
- Experience with warehouse management systems and handheld scanners preferred
- Strong reading and math skills for labeling, counting, and documentation
- Ability to use voice-directed picking systems like VoCollect headset
- Basic mechanical aptitude
- Comfortable working in varying temperatures including freezer and cooler environments
- Strong attention to detail and teamwork skills
- Commitment to safety
Job Duties
- Safely operate material handling equipment including pallet jacks and forklifts
- Inspect incoming and outgoing shipments and verify accuracy of orders and product quality
- Maintain a clean, safe, and organized work area in compliance with company standards
- Use warehouse technology such as RF scanners and inventory systems to track orders and inventory
- Follow all QIP and sanitation policies and safety protocols
- Use handheld scanners to pick and pack customer orders accurately
- Conduct cycle counts and spot checks to maintain inventory accuracy
- Follow FEFO (First Expired, First Out) procedures for food products
