Job Requirements

  • High school graduate or equivalent
  • 1-2 years experience in warehouse/distribution environment
  • Able to physically handle lifting up to 50 pounds
  • Authorized to work in the United States without current or future need for visa sponsorship
  • Ability to work onsite 100 percent of the time
  • Proficient in English
  • Ability to work flexible shifts and extended hours as needed
  • Ability to operate warehouse management and IT systems including SAP and scanners
  • Capable of complying with export compliance and hazardous materials packaging standards
  • Good communication skills
  • Ability to follow safety and quality processes
  • No licensure or certifications required but forklift and hazmat certification preferred or obtainable

Job Qualifications

  • High school graduate or equivalent
  • 1-2 years experience in warehouse/distribution environment
  • Preferred SAP experience
  • Preferred experience in aircraft parts warehouse/distribution
  • Forklift certification or ability to obtain
  • Hazmat certification or ability to obtain
  • Proficient in English
  • Familiarity with using computer systems including SAP, MS Office, and various warehouse management systems
  • Able to use scanners and email for communication
  • Strong judgment and decision-making skills
  • Initiative and proactive problem-solving capabilities

Job Duties

  • Unload and load supplies and material from vehicles as required
  • Perform inventory stock check functions
  • Perform inventory control functions in warehouse management systems and customer/supplier systems as required
  • Inspect shipments including physical parts and paperwork inspection
  • Issue quality related paperwork
  • Perform stock control functions including product stocking, cycle counts, and order retrievals
  • Pack goods per ATA 300 standards for storage and shipment
  • Package hazardous goods per DOT CFR49 / ICARO regulations
  • Comply with export compliance regulations for filing AES for international shipments
  • Issue labels and prepare freight for carrier pickup
  • Process all scrap material
  • Perform supply stock audits
  • Ensure all customer requirements are followed
  • Follow methods and procedures to enable efficient and accurate material storage and retrieval in accordance with 6S, ISO, ASA 100 and AS9120 standards
  • Prevent product nonconformity
  • Report all non-conformities or process irregularities
  • Assist with KPIs and 6S initiatives for continual improvement
  • Interact professionally with various departments
  • Suggest enhancements or procedural changes to improve efficiency
  • Work shifts or extended hours during order peaks or Aircraft on Ground (AOG) critical orders
  • Support other functions and duties as needed
  • Perform additional duties as assigned
