Job Requirements
- Up to 1 year of work related experience
- ability to lift up to 75 pounds
- able to stand, walk, push, pull, squat, bend, reach, climb stairs, balance, stoop, kneel, crouch, or sit for extended periods
- willingness to work in hazardous conditions and cramped spaces
- must be able to operate manual or powered warehouse equipment such as forklifts, order pickers, pallet jacks, and hand trucks
- willingness to travel periodically including overnight stays
- high school diploma or GED preferred
- prior warehouse or similar experience preferred
- prior PIT experience preferred
Job Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED preferred
- ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals
- basic computer skills
- basic oral communication and ability to write brief messages and keep simple records
- ability to follow standard procedures with no decision making involved
- able to use guidance and guidelines provided by supervisor or manager
- able to work on assignments and priorities provided by supervisor or manager
Job Duties
- Receive and put away inbound product to designated location
- pick or pull correct product from the appropriate locations and deliver to staging area or delivery truck
- operate manual or powered equipment to transport product in and about warehouse
- sort and place parts and supplies on racks, shelves, or in bins according to predetermined sequence
- maintain orderliness and housekeeping of assigned work areas
- comply with established company policies and procedures
- assume other duties as assigned
