- Ability to safely operate powered freight handling equipment
- Physical capability to lift and move freight
- Willingness to follow company policies, procedures, and ethical standards
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills
- Availability to work scheduled hours including possible shift flexibility
Job Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Experience with freight handling or warehouse operations preferred but not required
- Ability to operate powered industrial equipment such as pallet jacks and lifts
- Strong communication and teamwork skills
- Commitment to ethical standards and workplace safety
- Basic computer skills for use of warehouse management systems
- Adaptability to changing work demands and ability to learn from feedback
Job Duties
- Complete work assignments using policies, data, and resources
- Collaborate with managers, co-workers, customers, and business partners
- Identify priorities, deadlines, and expectations
- Move and load freight manually and by powered equipment
- Count, separate, combine, and scan freight utilizing warehouse management systems
- Maintain records, logs, and forms related to freight
- Organize work area and maintain freight flow ensuring safety and compliance
