The Restaurant Supervisor role at Chickie’s & Pete’s, located within the PPL Center in Allentown, Pennsylvania, is a part-time position open until September 4, 2026. This role offers an hourly wage ranging from $17.00 to $20.00 per hour and includes part-time benefits such as a 401(k) savings plan with matching contributions. The Restaurant Supervisor will be integral in supporting the restaurant’s general manager by ensuring that day-to-day operations run smoothly, while maintaining excellent guest service standards and adherence to company policies.

This position involves overseeing the restaurant team and ensuring that all service, operational, and quality standards of Chickie’s & Pete’s are met. Supervisors are responsible for maintaining a clean and safe work environment and guaranteeing that venues are well-stocked and service-ready at all times. Compliance with all applicable food safety regulations, liquor laws, and franchise agreements is mandatory. The role demands active participation in POS system operations, such as handling voids, comps, split checks, and gratuity management, along with troubleshooting technical issues related to the POS system and other equipment.

Leaders in this position cultivate a positive and cooperative workplace by mentoring and leading team members effectively. They monitor product quality and consistently work to enhance guest satisfaction through attentive service and communication. Flexibility and reliability in work attendance are needed, especially for varied scheduling and event-related shifts. Job Requirements

  • High school diploma or GED
  • 1+ years of supervisory experience in a fast-paced restaurant setting
  • Valid Health Food Handlers Card
  • Alcohol Awareness Certification
  • Ability to handle cash with accuracy
  • Basic math skills related to cashiering and inventory
  • Strong communication skills
  • Ability to work in a team in a fast-paced, event-driven environment

Job Qualifications

  • High school diploma or GED
  • 1+ years of supervisory experience as a supervisor or manager in a fast-paced restaurant environment
  • 2-3 years of supervisory experience in a fast-paced, high-volume food court, casual, buffet, or nightclub preferred
  • Must acquire and maintain valid Health Food Handlers Card and Alcohol Awareness Certification within 60 days of hire
  • Ability to handle cash accurately and responsibly
  • Ability to calculate basic math functions related to POS transactions, cash reconciliation, and inventory
  • Strong communication skills with team members, management, and guests
  • Ability to work well in a team-oriented, fast-paced, event-driven environment

Job Duties

  • Follow all Chickie’s & Pete’s service, operational, and company standards
  • Provide support to General Manager in daily operations of the restaurant
  • Ensure team members maintain knowledge of the menu and any specials
  • Supervise the team in maintaining a clean and presentable work area
  • Ensure the venues are stocked and prepared for service at all times
  • Comply and ensure compliance with liquor laws regarding alcohol service
  • Comply with all departmental food and franchise contractual agreements
  • Perform POS duties including voids, comps, splitting checks, gratuities
  • Coordinate troubleshooting of POS system, facilities, and equipment issues
  • Provide ongoing supervision and mentoring to team members
  • Monitor product quality and guest service
  • Maintain excellent attendance and be available for events and varied schedules
  • Communicate positively and respectfully with internal and external guests
