Job Requirements
- Must be 18 years of age or older
- Must have reliable telephone and transportation
- Ability to sit, stand, lift, and/or bend throughout the shift
- Pass pre-employment and random drug tests
- Complete a criminal background check
- Be a citizen of the United States or possess required INS authorization
- Must be able to follow instructions in English
- Maintain confidentiality of information
- Ability to handle employee and passenger situations tactfully
- Must adhere to company policies and safety procedures
Job Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Some supervisory or management experience in a shift work environment
- Verbal and written communication skills
- Ability to treat all information as confidential
- Possess tact to deal with clients, employees, and the public
- Ability to resolve problems with employees and passengers
- Ability to read, understand, direct, and carry out instructions in English
- Must meet requirements to obtain a security sensitive identification badge
- Must be familiar with company, client, and government regulations
- Maintain professionalism and business attire
- Experience attending and contributing in meetings and training sessions
Job Duties
- Perform all duties of subordinate employees when necessary
- Be familiar with all pertinent regulations (Company/Client/Government Agencies)
- Schedule personnel daily and furnish copy to Account Manager
- Obtain written approval for necessary use of overtime in advance
- Monitor employee activity and make adjustments as needed
- Ensure employees follow all regulations/procedures
- Check In/Out sheets to ensure accurate logging of employee times
- Deal fairly, courteously, and tactfully with fellow employees while maintaining confidentiality and professionalism
- Communicate effectively with fellow employees and client representatives
- Make recommendations to Account Manager regarding personnel performance
- Act on and communicate safety hazards and equipment problems to Account Manager or General Manager
- Report incidents and inquiries to Account Managers promptly
- Respond to inquiries from leads, employees, clients, and passengers in a timely, courteous, and professional manner
- Maintain cleanliness of immediate work area and report maintenance needs
- Project a positive image and respond to clients, staff, and public courteously
- Provide clear direction to leads, coordinators, warehouse, and crews
- Attend meetings and in-services as required
- Maintain records, training files, reports, and files as needed
- Utilize company training materials to develop a safe, well-trained staff and maintain a safe work environment
- Adhere to company policies and procedures
- Utilize company and client equipment, supplies, and resources cost-effectively
- Perform quality assurance service audits as directed
- Ensure implementation and active participation in the Safety Management System (SMS)
- Implement safety plan for station
- Maintain Quality Assurance oversight on operational and safety issues
- Perform other duties as requested
