Job Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Some supervisory or management experience in a shift work environment
  • Must be 18 years of age or older
  • Must have a reliable telephone and transportation
  • Must be able to treat information as confidential
  • Possess tact in dealing with clients, employees and the public
  • Must be able to sit, stand, lift, and bend during the shift
  • Must pass pre-employment and random drug tests
  • Must complete a criminal background check
  • Must be able to read, understand, and carry out instructions in English
  • Must meet requirements for security sensitive identification badge
  • Must be a U.S. citizen or possess INS authorization
  • Ability to resolve problems involving employees and passengers
  • Knowledge of company, client, and government regulations
  • Ability to schedule and monitor personnel
  • Ability to communicate effectively and professionally
  • Ability to perform quality assurance audits
  • Ability to participate in Safety Management System activities

Job Qualifications

  • Problem-solving skills in employee and passenger interactions

Job Duties

  • Perform all duties of subordinate employees when necessary
  • Be familiar with pertinent regulations of company, client, and government agencies
  • Schedule personnel daily and furnish copy to Account Manager
  • Obtain written approval for overtime use
  • Monitor employee activity and make adjustments
  • Ensure employees follow regulations and procedures
  • Check in/out sheets to ensure accurate logging of times
  • Deal courteously and tactfully with employees while maintaining confidentiality
  • Communicate effectively with employees and client representatives
  • Make personnel performance recommendations to Account Manager
  • Report safety hazards and equipment problems
  • Report inquiries and incidents to Account Managers
  • Respond timely and professionally to inquiries from leads, employees, clients, and passengers
  • Keep leads informed of needs and problems
  • Maintain cleanliness of work area and report maintenance needs
  • Project a positive image and respond courteously to clients, staff, and the public
  • Give clear directions to leads, coordinators, warehouse, and crews
  • Attend meetings and in-services
  • Maintain records, training files, reports
  • Utilize training materials to develop a safe, well-trained staff
  • Adhere to dress code and wear identification badges visibly
  • Follow company policies and participate in achieving company objectives
  • Use company and client equipment and supplies economically
  • Perform quality assurance service audits
  • Ensure implementation of the Safety Management System
  • Implement station safety plan
  • Maintain Quality Assurance oversight on operational issues
  • Participate actively in the Safety Management System
  • Perform other duties as requested
