Job Requirements
- High school diploma or G.E.D. equivalent
- no prior related work experience required
- no supervisory experience necessary
- ability to lift and carry objects weighing up to 50 pounds
- ability to stand, sit, or walk for extended periods
- capacity to work full time in a non-management role
- adherence to uniform and appearance standards
- willingness to comply with food safety and company policies
- ability to communicate clearly with guests and associates
- availability to work on-site at JW Marriott Tucson Starr Pass Resort & Spa
Job Qualifications

- ability to perform physical tasks including lifting and moving objects up to 50 pounds
- basic knowledge of food safety and handling

- experience in inventory or stock handling preferred but not required

- capability to complete safety training and certifications
Job Duties
- Receive and stage merchandise by department
- mark merchandise for placement in the facility
- deliver merchandise to appropriate departments
- stack received merchandise on pallets or carts
- complete requisition forms for inventory and supplies
- notify manager or supervisor of low stock levels
- receive deliveries and store perishables properly
- rotate stock regularly
- inspect deliveries to verify freshness, cleanliness, consistency, and quality
- refuse acceptance of damaged or incorrect items
- adhere to food safety and handling policies
- organize, clean, and sanitize refrigerators, freezers, floors, food equipment, and drains
- remove empty pallets, cardboard, and trash and place in proper storage
- report accidents, injuries, and unsafe work conditions to manager
- complete safety training and certifications
- follow company policies and procedures
- maintain clean and professional uniform and personal appearance
- protect company assets
- communicate professionally with guests and co-workers
- support team to reach common goals
- comply with quality assurance expectations
- read and verify information accurately
- perform physical tasks such as lifting up to 50 pounds
- maneuver in narrow, confined, or elevated spaces
- perform other reasonable job duties as requested
