Job Requirements

  • Alcohol awareness certification
  • Safe Serve certification
  • must adhere to all grooming standards with no visible tattoos, piercings or unnatural hair colors

Job Qualifications

  • Knowledge of restaurant and bar operations including food, beverage, supervision, service techniques and guest service
  • previous experience in a food environment in front or back of the house
  • time management skills
  • must have wine knowledge to assist guests
  • tableside cooking skills
  • knowledge of menu items including ingredients and preparation
  • friendly and outgoing personality
  • ability to multi-task in a high volume, high stress environment while exceeding guest expectations
  • maintain professional demeanor

Job Duties

  • Oversee end of the night close down and side work
  • assist team members in wine and food service
  • keep communication flowing between front and back of the house to ensure proper timing of food delivery
  • maintain positive guest relations to ensure a positive dining experience
  • apply time management skills to ensure food is prepared and served timely
  • decrease expenses through proper handling of product
  • increase revenue through suggestive up-sell
  • work with Maitre D’ to oversee proper sequence of service from team members
  • monitor and maintain cleanliness, sanitation and organization of assigned service area
  • perform other incidental and related duties as required and assigned
