Job Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Previous experience in hotel housekeeping or similar role preferred
- Physical ability to perform cleaning tasks including standing, lifting, and pushing up to 50lbs
- Comfortable operating heavy machinery related to laundry and cleaning
- Commitment to guest privacy and security
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Availability to work flexible shifts including weekends and holidays
Job Qualifications
- Previous hotel, laundry or linen service experience a plus
- Comfortable around heavy duty machinery
- Able to stand for extended periods
- Able to push and pull up to 50lbs
- Good judgement and commitment to safety
- Ability to work and interact with diverse people
- Passion and excitement about the hospitality industry
- Availability to work weekdays, weekends, evenings and holidays
Job Duties
- Clean and maintain all areas of guest-rooms including making beds, cleaning bathrooms, fixtures, removing dirty linen and terry and replacing all used guest amenities, dusting, vacuuming, emptying trash, mopping floors and adding a personal touch to provide excellent housekeeping service
- Complete standard room assignments in compliance with time and productivity standards
- Report maintenance request to ensure everything in perfect working order
- Respect guest privacy and security
- Provide memorable service to each guest encountered
- Ensure all cleaning supplies and equipment are used and stored properly
- Collaborate with team members to maintain overall hotel cleanliness
