Job Duties

  • Train and mentor kitchen team members in best practices from plate presentation to daily prep
  • Lead the kitchen in the Executive Chef's absence ensuring smooth operations and top-tier food quality
  • Ensure every dish meets high standards of quality and consistency
  • Maintain open communication with team and leadership providing feedback, coaching, and discipline when needed
  • Resolve kitchen issues quickly to keep service running flawlessly
  • Assist in setting goals and standards that enhance reputation and profitability
  • Participate in inventory management, team meetings, and maintain accurate records like roast charts and recipe cards
