Job Duties
- Train and mentor kitchen team members in best practices from plate presentation to daily prep
- Lead the kitchen in the Executive Chef's absence ensuring smooth operations and top-tier food quality
- Ensure every dish meets high standards of quality and consistency
- Maintain open communication with team and leadership providing feedback, coaching, and discipline when needed
- Resolve kitchen issues quickly to keep service running flawlessly
- Assist in setting goals and standards that enhance reputation and profitability
- Participate in inventory management, team meetings, and maintain accurate records like roast charts and recipe cards
