Job Requirements
- Prior route driving experience preferred
- Ability to start work at 5:00 am Monday through Friday
- Willingness to work a rotating Saturday schedule
- Must be physically capable of lifting 50 lbs regularly
- Must possess a valid driver’s license
- Ability to operate company vehicles safely and follow traffic laws
- Must be able to perform minor mechanical maintenance on vending machines
- Ability to use handheld inventory devices
- Must maintain excellent customer service standards
- Must adhere to company vehicle cleanliness and safety protocols
Job Qualifications
- Three years driving experience required
- Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record
- One to two years of customer service experience preferred
- Ability to safely operate company vehicles in compliance with traffic laws
- Ability to lift 50 lbs consistently
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Basic mechanical aptitude for minor vending machine servicing
- Experience in inventory management and use of handheld technology
Job Duties
- Ensure the truck is properly loaded with required products before each route
- Maintain proper inventory levels and product distribution for vending machines
- Load and unload product using a hand cart to service vending machines
- Perform product rotation to ensure freshness of vending machine products
- Provide high-quality client and customer service throughout route
- Perform routine cleaning and sanitation of vending machines and related equipment
- Conduct minor service and adjustments on vending machines and report defective equipment
- Maintain accurate machine product and inventory data using a handheld computer
- Inform clients of new products or services and resolve service complaints promptly
- Set up merchandise and promotional displays
- Manage receipts, invoices, delivery tickets, cash received, and product accountability
- Conduct inventory reconciliation per procedures
- Keep company vehicle clean and perform pre- and post-trip inspections
- Perform additional duties as assigned
