Job Requirements
- High school diploma or GED
- must be at least 21 years of age
- ability to lift 50 lbs
- ability to successfully complete all required training
- ability to maneuver packages with equipment or assistance
- ability to communicate effectively in English
- must meet federal motor carrier safety regulations
- must have appropriate equipment licensing
- must pass medical exam as per FHWA or FAA regulations
- ability to work in a safe manner and remain alert
- must be licensed for assigned equipment
Job Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED
- ability to successfully complete all basic and re-currency training
- ability to lift 50 lbs
- ability to maneuver packages above 50 lbs with appropriate equipment or assistance
- ability to work with power and hand tools
- must meet qualifications as outlined in section 391 of federal motor carrier safety regulations
- must be at least 21 years of age
- ability to read and speak English sufficiently to understand traffic signs and communicate with officials
Job Duties
- Perform shuttle functions using a non-articulated vehicle
- load and unload aircraft and vehicles
- sort packages
- operate power and hand tools
- maintain alertness and safety while working
- communicate effectively in a time sensitive manner in a noisy environment
- comply with federal motor carrier safety regulations
