Job Requirements

  • Must be 21 years of age or older
  • No experience required, on the job training provided
  • No high school diploma, GED or college degree required
  • This role may require a CDL with a specific class and endorsement requirement
  • Ability to safely operate and handle specialized equipment for passengers with special needs
  • Ability to pass background check and drug screening
  • Availability to work flexible hours including weekends and holidays

Job Qualifications

  • No prior experience required, on the job training provided
  • Ability to obtain CDL with specific class and endorsements as applicable
  • Preferred one year of prior passenger shuttle driving experience
  • Must be 21 years of age or older
  • Good customer service and communication skills
  • Ability to safely operate passenger vehicles
  • Basic knowledge of vehicle inspection and maintenance procedures

Job Duties

  • Transport, load and unload passengers at designated pick-up and drop-off locations
  • Ensure safe loading and unloading of passengers including use of wheelchair lifts and tie-downs
  • Assist passengers with luggage as needed
  • Inspect vehicles regularly for unsafe conditions and perform cleaning and maintenance
  • Provide excellent customer service, respond courteously to guest inquiries and give directions
  • Maintain and enforce bus evacuation plans and coordinate evacuation activities
  • Report any incidents or claims immediately to Operations Manager or Shift Lead
  • Refuel and maintain shuttle equipment including fuel use logs
  • Disinfect shuttle after each use and maintain a clean work environment
  • Perform pre-inspection and post-inspection activities to ensure compliance with safety standards and Department of Transportation regulations
