Job Requirements
- High school diploma or GED preferred
- 1+ years driving experience especially with box trucks
- clean driving record without at-fault accidents for 1+ years
- current and valid driver’s license
- must be 21 years or older
- physical ability to lift up to 50 lbs repetitively and occasionally heavier items
- ability to follow DOT and company safety regulations
- successful background check
- successful pre-employment drug screening
- ability to maintain a DOT certificate while operating company vehicles
Job Qualifications
- Safety 1st mentality
- 1+ years of box truck or delivery experience preferred
- 1+ years of no at-fault accidents
- clean motor vehicle record (MVR)
- current driver’s license relevant to vehicle classes operated
- ability to obtain and maintain a DOT certificate
- minimum age 21 years
- ability to lift up to 50 lbs repetitively and occasionally more than 50 lbs
- ability to complete driver vehicle inspection reports as required
- compliance with Federal, State, and Local laws
- ability to pass background check and pre-employment drug screen
Job Duties
- Operate company vehicles in a safe, efficient, and courteous manner within TBC policies
- pick, stage and load trucks as requested
- understand and adhere to DOT regulations including hours of service requirements
- maintain a thorough knowledge of products and operating procedures
- adhere to pre-determined route sequencing when delivering tires/equipment to customers
- securely handle COD (cash or check) when applicable as required per company COD policy
- maintain a clean, safe and secure vehicle and work area
- maintain exceptional customer service based on people-focused values
- come to work in a clean and laundered uniform provided by NTW
- operate various Material Handling Equipment (MHE) in a safe and efficient manner as needed
- perform other duties as requested or needed
