Job Requirements
- Minimum of 2 years full-service restaurant experience or equivalent
- Knowledge of menu and specials
- Familiarity with wine list
- Understanding of liquor list and special drinks
- Knowledge of accounting procedures
- Understanding of restaurant layout including table numbers and station numbers
- Familiarity with individual restaurant orientation material including rules and philosophies
- Willingness and ability to meet personal schedule requirements punctually
- Courteous, pleasant, and good-natured attitude
- Patience and courtesy when responding to difficult guests
- Ability to accept constructive criticism
- Ability to get along with co-workers
- Clean, well-manicured appearance reflecting restaurant image
- Ability to stand and walk for entire shift
- Ability to safely transport food over slick, uneven surfaces
- Ability to serve a party of 4 in single trip
- Ability to continuously transport food and beverages during shift
- Ability to safely move throughout restaurant
- Willingness to work nights, weekends, and holidays

Job Duties
- Take orders and serve food and beverages to guests in the restaurant and cocktail area
- Accurately account for and balance all sales and receipts
- Communicate clearly with the kitchen both verbally and using the computer register system
- Present and encourage current promotional information and materials to guests
- Accurately record and account for all items ordered and served
- Accept payment from guests accurately
- Notify guests of any automatic gratuity
- Perform calmly under pressure while handling multiple tasks simultaneously
- Communicate with guests clearly, patiently, and courteously
- Perform varied duties to ensure all aspects of service according to standing operating procedure
