Job Requirements
- High school diploma or GED
- Must be at least 21 years of age
- Ability to read and speak English sufficiently to understand traffic signs and communicate with traffic officials
- Ability to lift 50 lbs and handle heavier packages with equipment or assistance
- Licensed to drive assigned vehicle type
- Ability to work in a safe manner and remain alert
- Neat appearance due to customer contact
- No prior experience required

- Good human relations and communication skills
- Ability to read and speak English to understand traffic signs and communicate with officials

- Possess a valid license for the type of vehicle assigned
Job Duties
- Provide courteous and efficient delivery and pick-up of packages
- Check shipments for conformance to FedEx features of service and provide related customer service functions
- Drive vehicles not regulated by section 391 of the Federal Motor Carrier Safety Regulations
- Perform other duties as assigned
- Maintain neat appearance and professional conduct during customer interactions
- Use appropriate equipment to handle packages above 50 lbs with assistance
- Adhere to all traffic safety laws and regulations
