Job Requirements
- Current food management certification
- Ownership mentality
- Flexible scheduling availability
- Willingness to transfer locations up to 30 miles
- Valid driver’s license
- Reliable transportation
- Basic math skills including currency handling and calculator use
- Basic computer proficiency
- Knowledge of health code standards
- Ability to complete written documentation in English
- Ability to communicate effectively
- Physical ability to stand and move for up to 4 hours and work 50-55 hours per week
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs
- Capability to bend, stoop, squat, or crawl
- Coordination to operate kitchen equipment
- Adherence to dress and grooming policies
Job Qualifications
- Must have current food management certification
- Must possess and demonstrate an ownership mentality
- Must have flexibility for scheduling
- Must be willing to transfer to a different geographical location
- Must have a valid driver’s license and reliable transportation
- Must be adept at ordering and formulating pars
- Must have basic math skills
- Must be able to count currency and make change
- Must be able to use a calculator to add, subtract, multiply and divide
- Must have basic computer skills
- Must understand and facilitate proper health code standards
- Must adhere to Flanigan's always hiring policy and conduct interviews in a timely fashion
- Must issue written evaluations for positive and or negative performance
- Must be able to see, speak clearly, listen attentively, taste, and smell
- Must be able to read and write English
Job Duties
- Communicate concerning all kitchen issues with management throughout the course of the day
- Read and write notes in the manager's daily log in English
- Attend weekly manager's meetings and monthly staff meetings
- Read the weekly memo
- Complete weekly and monthly employee evaluations
- Communicate with all managers on duty when shift is completed
- Relate an accurate and honest report of all events both positive and negative
- Comply with all policies, rules and directions in manuals, memos, and meetings
- Attend quarterly supervisor meetings
