Job Requirements
- Active-duty military member or Hiring Our Heroes fellow
- two years of recruitment or selection experience
- high school diploma, GED, or equivalent
- proficiency in social media recruiting
- strong communication skills
- ability to work independently
- valid identification for verification
- willingness to attend recruiting events
- ability to maintain confidentiality
- availability for up to 180 days
- adherence to affirmative action requirements
Job Qualifications
- Two-year experience in recruitment/selection and related employment law practices
- advanced social media skills with both organic and sponsored recruiting advertising preferred
- high school diploma, GED, or equivalent
- bachelor’s degree in human resources or equivalent HR generalist work preferred
- comfortable and confident speaking in front of groups
- strong communication, written and interpersonal skills

Job Duties
- Partner with operations to understand their staffing needs
- develop effective relationships with outside organizations to foster community relations and generate applicants
- develop creative recruitment strategies using various means to identify and develop candidates
- utilize various recruiting sources to identify and recruit candidates
- develop cost-effective recruitment strategies based on business and departmental goals
- advertise and promote open positions using social media and marketing
- attend recruiting events and job fairs extensively
- meet with educational institutions with EMS programs to create strong relationships
- conduct presentations to local organizations and candidates regarding employment opportunities, company culture, benefits, and growth opportunities
- assess applicants' knowledge, skills, and experience to best suit open positions
- assist applicants with the application process when needed
- maintain contact with potential candidates
- ensure all recruitment processes comply with affirmative action reporting
- assist with new hire orientation when required
