Job Requirements

  • HS diploma, GED or equivalent
  • must be at least 18 years of age
  • valid driver’s license
  • ability to successfully communicate with others
  • ability to work in a high-noise level environment
  • ability to lift and push bags weighing up to 70 lbs
  • able to perform duties in variable weather and environmental conditions

Job Qualifications

  • High school diploma, GED or equivalent
  • valid driver’s license
  • ability to communicate effectively
  • ability to work rotating shifts including weekends, holidays, and days off
  • ability to read, write, and fluently speak English
  • physical ability to perform lifting and pushing tasks up to 70 lbs
  • familiarity with safety and security protocols
  • experience operating ground support equipment preferred

Job Duties

  • Loading and unloading cargo on and off aircraft
  • transporting cargo between terminals and aircraft
  • performing ramp transfers of cargo
  • receiving, delivering, and physically handling freight and company material
  • completing necessary documentation and communication related to cargo handling
  • assisting in loading, unloading, and racking drums
  • de-icing aircraft, clearing aircraft windshields, and performing push-out and guide man functions
  • connecting and removing ground power and ground start units
  • cleaning aircraft exterior and work areas
  • monitoring security procedures and reporting breaches or suspicious activity
