Job Requirements

  • Must be 18 years of age or older
  • Must have reliable telephone and transportation
  • Must possess valid driver’s license
  • Must be able to perform repeated heavy lifting up to 70 lbs for extended periods
  • Must be able to sit, stand, lift, and/or bend throughout shifts
  • Willingness to work in varying climatic conditions including extreme heat, cold, wind, rain, ice, and snow
  • Must pass pre-employment and random drug tests
  • Must pass criminal background check
  • Willingness and ability to handle non-routine situations including flight delays and passenger accommodations
  • Must be a U.S. citizen or have necessary authorization
  • Must have clear driving record
  • Treat all information as confidential
  • Possess tact in dealing with clients, employees, and the public

Job Qualifications

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Computer experience preferred
  • Previous customer service experience preferred
  • Ability to read, write, understand and carry out instructions in English
  • Ability to verbally communicate in English
  • Familiarity with FAA, airline, company, and airport regulations
  • Valid driver’s license
  • Ability to follow safety protocols and procedures

Job Duties

  • Handling and care of passenger baggage
  • Loading, unloading, transportation to and from various airport locations
  • Handling and care of U.S. mail, freight, and express parcels
  • Operating aircraft servicing equipment including electrical, engine start, lavatories, water service and deicing
  • Providing safe guidance of aircraft to and from parked areas, taxiways, and gates using visual, hand, verbal, and electronic communications
  • Pushing or towing aircraft to designated locations
  • Assisting disabled passengers in and out of the aircraft
  • Cleaning aircraft interiors thoroughly, including turn and overnight cleaning
  • Pulling computer work assignments and provisioning aircraft
  • Reporting accurately and timely
  • Adhering to FAA, airline, company, and airport regulations
  • Maintaining cleanliness and reporting maintenance needs
  • Projecting a positive image and responding courteously to clients and the public
  • Attending meetings and trainings
  • Using communications channels and maintaining records
  • Wearing proper uniforms and identification
  • Adhering to company policies and participating in company objectives
  • Utilizing equipment and resources cost-effectively
  • Performing additional duties as requested
