Job Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Minimum 3 years experience in food safety control and quality program management
- ServSafe certification
- Ability to stand, bend, lift, and move intermittently during long shifts
- Ability to lift, push, or pull objects over 25 pounds
- Basic knowledge of HACCP and GMPs
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
- Excellent communication skills
- Ability to work with minimal supervision
- Ability to train staff and manage quality initiatives
Job Qualifications
- High school graduate or equivalent
- College degree in related discipline preferred
- Experience with food safety control practices
- Knowledge of HACCP, GMPs, SOPs, and quality management
- ServSafe certification required
- HACCP certification and ServeSafe training preferred
- Basic knowledge of lean, Six Sigma, and continuous improvement
- Intermediate Microsoft Office skills
- Knowledge of quality auditing and inspection methods
- Strong organizational and communication skills
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively
- Analytical skills including basic statistics and project management
- Knowledge of FDA regulations
- Excellent oral and written communication skills
Job Duties
- Coordinate and monitor quality improvement projects
- Audit implementation of quality systems for effectiveness
- Monitor corrective action systems
- Educate and train staff and managers on quality issues
- Develop and implement a comprehensive quality program
- Support defect prevention efforts
- Maintain customer compliance and key quality performance metrics
- Act as liaison to US Quality Assurance
- Control food safety and processing quality
- Support customer and government audits
- Verify adherence to company policies and quality specifications
- Assist in developing Standard Operating Procedures
- Train on SOPs and Critical Control Points
- Complete required safety and quality training
