Located at Napleton's Wyoming Valley BMW, the role of a Porter is critical to ensuring the smooth operation of the dealership. The Porter is tasked with a variety of duties centered around the care and maintenance of vehicles on the lot. This includes maintaining the cleanliness and readiness of vehicles, ensuring that they appear in impeccable condition for customer viewing, and assisting with the transportation of vehicles and customers throughout the dealership grounds and beyond. The Porter serves as a vital link in the daily operations of the dealership, supporting sales and service departments by keeping the vehicle inventory organized and presentable.

- ability to drive a manual and automatic transmission
- valid state driver’s license
- ability to operate an automobile
- ability to use hand and power tools
- willingness to undergo a background check in accordance with local law/regulations
- 18 years of age or older to comply with the company driving policy

Job Duties
- keeping vehicle lot neat and orderly
- moving units as directed by the sales/service managers and in accordance with dealership display standards
- transporting customers and dealership personnel as needed
- assisting with customer deliveries
- ensuring all vehicles are clean and in good repair on the lot and showroom
- picking up vehicles from storage and delivering vehicles to storage and other dealerships
- assisting with weather related clean up when necessary
- building and grounds maintenance as needed
- other functions and special projects may be assigned
