Job Requirements
- high school diploma or equivalent
- minimum three years experience in fine pastry
- strong interpersonal and team player skills
- legal work authorization in the United States
- ability to work flexible shifts including mornings evenings weekends and holidays
- commitment to maintaining high standards of sanitation and safety in the kitchen

Job Duties
- prepare sweet items pastries cakes ice creams sorbets fruit compotes chocolates and show pieces according to guest orders and banquet event orders
- maintain a safe sanitary work environment
- operate maintain and clean kitchen equipment including deep fryer broiler stove steamer food processor mixer slicer oven steam table tilt kettle waffle iron and flat top grill
- date all food containers and rotate stock as per policies ensuring perishables are kept at proper temperatures
- check inventory pars determine necessary preparation freezer pull and line set up
- note out-of-stock items or possible shortages and return unused food items to designated storage areas covering and dating perishables
- assist in setting up plans and actions to correct any food cost problems and control food waste loss and usage per policies
