Job Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred
- Prior work experience in a retail environment preferred
- A combination of education and experience providing equivalent knowledge
- Ability to perform duties with or without reasonable accommodation
- Physical ability to sit, stand, bend, reach, push, pull, lift, carry, and walk about the store regularly
- Ability to stock merchandise weighing up to 45 pounds on shelving at various heights
- Willingness to follow all safety procedures related to machinery and equipment operation

- Ability to perform general cleaning duties to company standards

- Cashier: Ability to operate a cash register efficiently and accurately
- Cashier: Comply with state and local requirements for handling and selling alcoholic beverages
- Stocker: Ability to operate equipment safely including electric/manual hand jack, floor scrubber, and cardboard baler
- Stocker: Morning availability to accommodate store operational responsibilities
Job Duties
- Collaborates with team members and communicates relevant information to direct leader
- Upholds the security and confidentiality of documents and data within area of responsibility
- Performs cashier duties including processing customer purchases and adhering to cash policies
- Provides exceptional customer service and assists customers with their shopping experience
- Stocks shelves and merchandise displays neatly
- Participates in taking store inventory counts according to guidelines and monitoring inventory for accuracy
- Operates machinery and follows all safety procedures handling stocking equipment
- Follows merchandising planograms to create excellently merchandised displays
- Organizes new inventory, removes and breaks down empty boxes
- Communicates feedback to management on products, inventory losses, scanning errors, and general issues
