- State of Indiana EMT-Paramedic certification
- Current CPR certification
- Current ACLS certification
- Current PALS certification
- Pass State of Indiana criminal background check
- Pass Indiana BMV motor vehicle report

Job Duties
- Perform all EMS skills and procedures as per Indiana EMS Commission curriculum
- Meet requirements of Trans-Care's Medical Direction for affiliation and clinical oversight
- Practice skills and fulfill duties within Standard of Care Protocol, physician orders, and medical authority directions
- Follow all Trans-Care policies and procedures
- Respond to EMS calls as assigned by communications center
- Operate and oversee vehicle operation under Indiana state laws and Trans-Care policies
- Treat customers, patients, employees and vendors with honesty and respect per Trans-Care's Code of Conduct
- Maintain strict patient confidentiality and safeguard protected health information
- Report any breaches or policy violations regarding patient information
- Demonstrate professional and courteous behavior at all times on duty
- Account for and check Advance Life Support equipment functionality
- Manage narcotics inventory and medication expiration compliance
- Maintain in-service education as per Indiana State EMT Agency
- Adhere to safety procedures and operate vehicles in compliance with state laws and Trans-Care policies
- Submit complete and timely documentation before shift ends
- Maintain a clean and hazard-free work environment
- Precept new paramedics, EMT-Basic students and new employees
- Report vehicle problems for repair promptly
- Maintain physical fitness for lifting, bending, stooping and related tasks
- Perform any reasonably related duties assigned by supervisors
