Job Requirements
- Ability to stand for extended periods 8-12 hours per shift in a high-heat environment
- Capability to lift and carry up to 50 pounds
- Frequent bending reaching and movement in a fast-paced production area
- Must follow strict food safety hygiene and cross-contamination prevention procedures
- Ability to work Monday through Thursday 10:00 a.m. to 8:00 p.m. shifts
Job Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent
- No prior experience required full on-the-job training will be provided
- Strong attention to detail and ability to multitask effectively
- Understanding of food safety and hygiene practices knowledge of cross-contamination prevention is a plus
- Good physical stamina and ability to work in a hot fast-paced setting
Job Duties
- Operate and monitor large industrial ovens and a proofer box ensuring consistent baking results
- Document bake times bread weights and loaf heights accurately for quality control
- Safely remove hot bread from pans and flip onto racks for cooling
- Maintain awareness of oven and proofer temperatures adjusting as needed to meet product standards
- Follow all food safety hygiene and cross-contamination prevention protocols
- Keep work areas clean and organized including routine cleaning of equipment
- Communicate with team members to coordinate workflow and maintain production efficiency
- Perform additional related tasks as assigned by the Production Supervisor
