The hiring establishment is a healthcare facility located in Bellingham, Washington, specializing in obstetrics and gynecology. Job Requirements
- Board certified OB/GYN
- Active Washington medical license or IMLC License of Qualification
- Valid Washington DEA license
- Certification in Basic Life Support (BLS) and Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS)
- Ability to perform C-sections independently
- Willingness to work 8 shifts per month of 12 hours each
- Availability to start May 2026 for a 6-month assignment
Job Qualifications
- Board certified in obstetrics and gynecology
- Demonstrated experience in hospital-based obstetric care
- Proficiency in performing cesarean sections independently
- Familiarity with EPIC EMR system preferred
- Strong patient management and communication skills
- Ability to work predictive block shifts
Job Duties
- Provide laborist coverage only with no outpatient clinic responsibilities
- Manage obstetric emergency department (OB ED) cases including assessment and treatment
- Perform patient rounding to monitor and manage obstetric patients
- Independently perform cesarean sections as required
- Use EPIC Electronic Medical Records system for patient documentation and care coordination
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams including nursing staff and anesthesiologists
- Maintain compliance with hospital policies and state regulations
