Job Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent preferred
  • Ability to read, write, and understand written and oral instructions
  • Six months of related experience required
  • Demonstrated skills in organization, verbal and written communications, customer service, math, analysis, reading, following instruction, basic computer usage

Job Duties

  • Provide nutrition and hospitality service to assigned patients including solicitation of preferences and processing and maintaining patient diet orders
  • Resolve any food and nutrition related issues
  • Complete try passing and pick up for assigned patients daily
  • Receive and document patient information in accordance with facility requirements in the computer system
  • Create and provide meal tickets and production sheets and relay any additional information needed throughout the department
