Job Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred
- Experience in retail sales, cashiering, or stock support advantageous
- Strong customer service and communication skills
- Ability to work in a fast-paced retail environment
- Proficiency with technology and inventory systems
- Ability to lift and carry up to 25 pounds regularly and up to 50 pounds occasionally for stock roles
- Flexibility to work varied schedules including weekends and holidays
Job Duties
- Help put the finishing touches on the store ahead of launch
- Create a smooth fitting room experience by greeting customers and escorting them to fitting rooms, then sorting and returning clothing to the floor
- Share information about upcoming events, Nordstrom gift cards, Rewards program, and mailing list
- Keep stockrooms organized and complete inventory processes ensuring merchandise is checked in and ticketed accurately
- Maintain sales floor appearance through re-merchandising and straightening throughout the day
- Receive, unload, and deliver newly arrived merchandise to departments
- Fulfill and ship customer orders while adhering to quality and packing standards
- Use inventory management systems to process shipments and maintain inventory accuracy
- Support store operations including event setup, markdowns, and relocating fixtures
