Job Requirements
- Minimum 8 to 10 years overall restaurant experience
- Minimum 3 to 5 years concurrent multi-unit management experience
- Relevant education in food service or culinary management preferred
- Ability to work varied and rotating schedules
- Strong leadership and decision-making skills
- Effective communication and interpersonal skills
- Compliance with company policies and health and safety regulations
Job Qualifications
- Documented experience managing QSR, casual dining, and full-service restaurants
- Minimum 3 years of concurrent multi-unit management experience
- Overall 8 to 10 years restaurant experience
- Graduation from food service management or culinary program may substitute for experience
- Strong team management, delegation, and issue resolution skills
- Knowledge of HMSHost policies and standards or rapid ability to learn
- Proficient reading and communication skills
- Ability to lead diverse teams and foster a positive work environment
Job Duties
- Ensure all GMs and staff complete opening and closing checklists
- Schedule managers to maintain leadership presence during all operating hours
- Provide coaching and support to restaurant staff
- Ensure compliance with company diversity and inclusion policies
- Interview, hire, and promote staff within the zone
- Monitor financial and operational reports to meet goals
- Collaborate with senior leadership on strategy and performance
- Manage product availability and restaurant equipment maintenance
- Train and coach employees on brand standards and new technologies
- Implement marketing programs and safety protocols
- Resolve customer and associate issues using discretion
- Promote employee engagement and recognition within restaurants
