Job Requirements
- High school diploma or GED
- Minimum 1 year field experience as an active paramedic
- Completion of annual clinical competencies, Fit Test, PPD screening, AMOC training, and other required training by designated deadlines
- Must complete MIH and telehealth training
- Ability to perform point-of-care testing and specimen collection (phlebotomy) per protocol
- Strong documentation skills in EMR/ePCR software
- Ability to work on-site in Pennsauken, NJ for day shifts
- Excellent communication and team collaboration skills
Job Qualifications
- Graduate of a recognized paramedic training program
- Current New Jersey paramedic certification issued by the NJ Department of Health
- Current BLS CPR certification from American Heart Association or equivalent
- Current American Heart Association Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) certification
- Current American Heart Association Pediatric Advanced Cardiac Life Support (PALS) or American Academy of Pediatrics PEPP certification
- Emergency Vehicle Operator Course (EVOC) certification
- Valid driver's license recognized by the State of New Jersey with a driving record meeting insurance standards
- Competency with telemedicine platforms and remote monitoring device setup
- Experience in MIH, hospital-at-home, home health, or chronic care management preferred
Job Duties
- Conduct comprehensive in-home patient assessments including medication reconciliation
- Administer treatments within the paramedic scope of practice
- Document clinical findings accurately in the electronic medical record/electronic patient care report system
- Facilitate telehealth visits with providers and manage remote monitoring devices
- Maintain MIH vehicles, durable medical equipment, and supply inventory ensuring infection control
- Perform point-of-care testing and specimen collection per protocol
- Participate in patient and caregiver education, community outreach, and program improvements
