Job Requirements

  • Experience performing warehouse duties including receiving, storing, and shipping products
  • Ability to interpret instructions and specifications accurately
  • Capability to work without more than normal supervision
  • Knowledge of materials handling and technical practices
  • Dexterity and commitment to safety
  • Physical ability to handle heavy loads often exceeding 40 pounds
  • Valid driver's license as required for certain duties

Job Duties

  • Handle one or more product lines within the warehouse
  • Manage segments of a large warehouse or serve as senior employee in smaller facilities
  • Receive, store, select, and ship general or specialized bulk materials and equipment
  • Develop plans for storage and arrangement of stock to maximize space utilization
  • Coordinate incoming and outgoing shipments efficiently
  • Use initiative to consolidate materials and protect stock
  • Adhere to safety standards and operate warehouse equipment properly
