Job Requirements

  • Must be at least 18 years old
  • Possess and maintain a valid Driver's License and clean driving record
  • Able to operate forklifts and other machinery
  • Must be able to pass and remain current on HAZMAT Dangerous Goods Handling course
  • Possess basic computer skills in Microsoft Office and Word
  • Must be willing to travel for training and company needs
  • Able to work a schedule that supports 24 hour operations
  • Able to lift or move up to 50 pounds
  • Able to focus with clear vision at 20 inches or less

Job Qualifications

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Previous experience in warehouse, parts, or supply chain is helpful
  • Ability to read and comprehend simple instructions and write simple correspondence
  • Ability to effectively present information to customers, clients, and employees
  • Ability to communicate properly between departments
  • Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out instructions
  • Makes limited decisions referring to established precedents and policies
  • Self-starter with excellent customer service skills

Job Duties

  • Accurately issues and delivers parts and materials to various departments
  • Ensures timely location and acquisition of parts/materials for Maintenance using computer tracking systems
  • Handles aircraft parts properly during transactions, shipping, and receiving to avoid damage, flight cancellations or delays
  • Performs accurate and timely computer system transactions including parts/materials issue and returns, warehouse transfers and bin transfers
  • Receives and inspects parts and materials, logging information in computer
  • Ensures parts/materials are properly stored, identified, and comply with Shelf Life programs
  • Expedites past-due repair and purchase orders for critical spare requirements
  • Maintains awareness of Suspected Unapproved Parts (SUP) to prevent entry into inventories
  • Performs shipping functions for hazardous and non-hazardous materials including counter to counter shipments
  • Reviews computer system daily for open requisitions and cancels outdated ones
  • Conducts inventory cycle counts and reports discrepancies
  • Works with departments to support maintenance tasks
  • Conducts monthly self-audits including shelf life, hazardous shipping files and FAA audits
  • Maintains tooling for maintenance tasks
  • Maintains a secure, clean and orderly stockroom per policies and FAA requirements
  • Ensures compliance with hazardous materials/dangerous goods regulations and Environmental Protection Agency policies
  • Performs other duties as assigned or required
