Job Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Minimum of 1 year of relevant high-volume customer support experience
- Ability to work onsite five days a week according to assigned schedule
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications
- Strong multitasking and organizational skills
- Excellent phone etiquette and communication abilities
- Willingness to work mandatory overtime during peak seasons from October to January
Job Qualifications
- 1+ year of high-volume customer support experience preferably in a call center environment
- Experience in retail customer service is considered
- Technical savvy with logistics and intermodal knowledge
- Experience in call center and inbound call handling
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office including Excel and keyboard shortcuts
- Strong job tenure and ability to work in a fast-paced environment
- Excellent communication and customer service skills
Job Duties
- Serve as a remote gate agent supporting driver operations through audio/video communication
- Verify and identify necessary specifications on trucks and processes
- Coordinate and communicate effectively with all parties involved in logistics operations
- Provide daily updates regarding the arrival, loading, unloading, and departure at various facilities
- Handle approximately 200 driver communications per day ensuring clear and excellent communication
- Follow standard operating procedures and solve problems effectively
- Manage multiple projects simultaneously and maintain high accuracy in documentation
