Job Description

Mesilla Valley Transportation (MVT) is a reputable trucking company highly regarded for its dedication to providing reliable and efficient transportation services. Based in the United States, MVT operates a fleet focused primarily on dry van freight, emphasizing driver safety, timely deliveries, and strong employee support. Their commitment to quality service and driver satisfaction has earned them a commendable position in the logistics industry. MVT understands the importance of quality drivers and goes above and beyond to create a work environment that values its workforce with competitive pay, excellent benefits, and unique incentives.

MVT is currently seeking local CDL-A truck drivers for a dedicated account in Groveport, Ohio. This opportunity offers drivers the chance to work on a schedule that provides home daily with no-touch freight, meaning drivers are not responsible for loading or unloading the trucks, enhancing safety and convenience. The trucking roles include two options: Store Delivery and XDT Drivers, both offering competitive weekly earnings and well-structured schedules. Drivers can expect to earn between $1,200 to $1,750 per week depending on the option chosen and experience. Additional financial incentives such as orientation pay of $1,000, stop pay, and bonuses for weekend work are also part of the attractive compensation package.

This role is ideal for Class-A CDL drivers who value a regulated lifestyle with excellent earning potential and work-life balance. The Store Delivery option offers a Monday through Friday schedule without weekend work and early morning shifts, making it perfect for drivers seeking consistent weekday hours. The XDT Drivers option is geared towards those open to working weekends with evening starts and a five-day average workweek. Both roles come with guaranteed dry van loads, engineered running lanes optimized for efficiency, and no endorsement requirements, simplifying the process for drivers to begin their journey with MVT.

Beyond competitive pay and schedules, MVT provides robust benefits that include full insurance coverage, weekly direct deposit, a significant referral bonus, and extensive support through their partnership with Penske, which offers 24/7 roadside assistance and replacement trucks to keep drivers on schedule. MVT also offers a driver’s app to streamline logging and paperwork, making daily operational tasks easier. Their emphasis on driver comfort extends to being pet and rider-friendly, fostering a welcoming and supportive culture.

MVT’s unique incentives set them apart from other trucking companies. Drivers have the chance to participate in a quarterly new car giveaway and compete for a grand prize of $25,000 by achieving the best yearly miles per gallon (MPG). Monthly fuel incentive bonuses further motivate their drivers to perform efficiently and safely. By joining MVT, drivers become part of a team that values family, career growth, and mutual success, all within a company culture that prioritizes the driver’s experience and well-being on and off the road.
